It was cheap and clean.

Staff were stroppy. The dorm was a mess although we did arrive late on a sat night. Only one internet terminal and for the lobby only wifi it did not work with my ipod and the font on the password was confusing.

- On my floor (with about 3-4 dorm rooms) there were only two showers, with only one having a place to hang clothes/towels. It was never a problem, though.

My room had a TV - it was fun to watch German programs. And my room was located between the bathroom and the showers - not too noisy and very convenient. Also for an extra fee (8 Euro) they washed and dried my clothes. The Charlottenburg Castle is literally down the street! And the castle gardens are well kept and very relaxing after a day of tourist dodging.

The breakfast options at the Bistro is very limited and not open all day on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays (only untill 14:00). It takes at least 30 min to get into town and there is no straight path - you have to change lines at least once.

Our room on the second night was good.

We booked for a twin room on booking. Com. Our booking was confirmed. We endedup in two different rooms and had to change on the second day. First room a stuffy triple. Shared bathroom. Not nice. 2nd room a peasant quad to ourselves with ensuite and kitchenette. Much nicer. Internet access very irregular if at all on our iPods.

Quite a good hostel for that money. free wi-fi and english-speacking personal. Breakfast's not included but is available in the nearest bistro and is quite cheep. Location is very good - 10 minutes to Charlottengerg and 100m to S-Bahn.

I liked hotel staff, they were very pacient and responsive. As for me (who wanted just place to sleep from late night to early morning) - everything was ok. I haven't a lot of travelling experience and find similar offers just a couple days before flight, but now I know that I can spend more days in Berlin without large expenses on living there. (Of course - remember - dont wait luxury)

Hmm... Maybe it could be possible to give possibility to guests to print something out (for example - in case of online airport check-in) even for fee... But it's not complaint, just proposal (but easy to realise)

Very good ratio between price and service - rooms were simple, but clean, bed was ok and the bathroom was working. Moreover, the room I stayed was situated to the yard, so it was very quiet.

If you will get a room located to the street, it could be quite noisy, as the street is very busy.

I had to rent bed sheets - the only place I had to do this on my trip / also not really any communial atmosphere

I slept in a room with a window next to the street. It was really too loud. In the other rooms it was good

It was easy to get to. The room had a full size bathroom and kitchen in it. The room was a decent size.

The shower wasn't fixed to the wall so you had to hold it (which I have come to learn is the case in many hostels) and there was no bathmat.

It is 2 minutes away from Westend train station, so if you come back at night, you don't have to wander around dark streets. The main attarctive of the hostel is its price: 10€ per night for a bed in a dormitory. My recommendation is to book a twin bedroom, it is 20€ per night and person, but at least you have your own space. Toilets and showers were spotless at the beginning of the day, but they usually were filthy at night-time because of the amount of people using them (rooms are crowded). 24H reception. 1 computer with internet for free at the main lounge.

Location: far from the centre. The walls are paper thin, and some of the dormitories are connected by doors that are locked but allow for all the sound to pass... You get the feeling that you are just separated from your neighbours by a curtain. No elevator. Breakfast costs 4€ and it is a total rip-off, it is not a buffet and you only get 1 youghourt, 2 buns of bread, 2 mermelades, 1 nutella, 1 honey, 1 small glass of watery orange juice. You are better off at Starbucks.
